Thank you for the wonderful restoration you performed on our Carins High Eagle antique fire helmet.  The liner was so old and soft that it was ready to fall apart, and the eagle needed to be repaired and polished.  I don't know how you found the old parts needed, but it is now just beautiful, and with the old liner replaced, I wear the helmet whenever I take our 1928 Ahrens-Fox engine out for a ride!  It is just perfect!  Thank you for your attention to detail and flexibility to help with an unusual job!

I just got the helmet today and it looks great. I am very pleased with the work you did and highly recommend your skills to anyone needing a leather refurbed.

The helmet you refurbed for me is my one and only. I bought that helmet when I was 18 and new to the fire service. Many years have gone by, and I wanted to wear it on the job now. However, since it was yellow from a previous department and I needed it black, I could not wear it. The last thing I wanted to do was just spray paint it. After all, to treat a leather that way is a sin. Well, I found you on the internet and off my helmet went.

Getting my helmet today, I have no regrets. With the complete refurb, it looks brand spankin' new. Now I can wear it on the job and proclaim "My leather forever" again.

The helmet was delivered a few days ago. It looks better than brand new. I am glad to have it back, it fits my head like a glove. Once I mount the new shield on it I will send you a picture.
